Southeast Missouri State University’s Kent Library and Information Technology recently opened a Family-Friendly Computer Study Room to allow student-parents a comfortable place to study with their children.

“The Kent Library Family-Friendly Computer Study Room is a safe, comfortable space for student-parents to study, do research, work on course assignments, write papers, and be with their children at the same time,” said Barbara Glackin, dean of Kent Library.

(West Plains) – Members of the Friends of the Garnett Library Executive Committee sit in comfortable, tech-friendly furnishings recently purchased with funds raised by the organization for the Garnett Library, located on the campus of Missouri State University-West Plains.

Students can now enjoy two booth seating arrangements with easy access to USB and electrical outlets, as well as four lounge chairs with tablet arms.

OZARK, Mo. (KY3) - There is a lot to check out at the Christian County library. Now, administrators hope to expand the offerings to more people.

"I enjoy coming over and reading the newspapers and the publications that they have (and) checking out a book every once in a while," said Joe Mullins, a Nixa resident.

Mullins has to drive all the way from Nixa, as do thousands of other neighbors around Christian County. That's because this facility, built in Ozark 43 years ago, is the only one for this growing county.
